This series of novels, graphic novels, audio plays and audio novellas was created by Stuart Voytilla and me, Mark Redfield. Our first novel in the series, CULT OF THE NOSFERATU, featuring vampire hunter Bertram Welles, is now available on hardback and eBook. We hope you like your vampires vicious and deadly, because that's how we plan to serve them up to our hero Bertram Welles!

THE WELLES SERIES
Meet Bertram Welles, vampire hunter.
Set in contemporary New York City, these novels and audio dramas follow the adventures of Bertram Welles, a private detective who also is the New York operative of a world-wide group of vampire hunters called "The Organization". Welles leads a team of agents who work tirelessly in Manhattan and the surrounding New York Burroughs flushing out and, when needed, executing the undead who lurk and prey upon the living.
The first novel in the series is CULT OF THE NOSFERATU.
ABOUT 'CULT OF THE NOSFERATU'
Christmas in Manhattan.
Tammy Greevly, a police cadet from Denver, travels to New York to find brother and bring him home. Fearing that he is the victim of areligious cult, Greevly uses her budding detective skills to track her younger sibling down. Bertram Welles, who has been tracking a series of murders and believing that they are connected to each other, soon crosses paths with Tammy Greevly. Welles is on his own, as he has given his agents off for the holidays, and so he must take Greevly into his world of secrets as together they investigate and infiltrate a CULT OF THE NOSFERATU.

THE HARKER SERIES
Set in London in 1905, during the Edwardian era and during the years of rapid social and technological change, and only a few years after the adventures of the English vampire hunters in Bram Stoker's novel "Dracula", our HARKER SERIES follows the continued adventures of Jonathan and Mina Harker.
By day, Jonathan is a successful solicitor, and Mina is a successful school teacher. Progressive and forward-thinking, the couple are bonded by mor than mere marriage: they have a son together and they have the shared, terrifying experience of helping vanquish the greatest vampire who ever preyed upon the living, the King of Vampires, Count Dracula!
The Harker's ongoing adventures as vampire hunters will be dramatized in a series of audio novellas starring Mark Redfield as Jonathan and Caroline Munro as Mina.
HARKER AND THE SHADOW OF DRACULA
is the first 90-minute audio novella that will be produced.
Several years after the events that were chronicled in "Dracula", Jonathan and Mina confront the horror of their young son being preyed upon by the acolytes who have sworn to uphold the legacy of Count Dracula, and bring him back to undead life at any and all costs! To save their son, Quincy, the Harker's must travel back to Castle Dracula in Transylvania and stop Dracula from executing his revenge.
The second audio novella of the series is HARKER AND THE DEVIL'S CHILDREN.
WHAT DO THE WELLES SERIES AND THE HARKER SERIES HAVE IN COMMON?
Both Bertram Welles, and in turn his agents, and Jonathan and Mina Harker, are operatives of a world-wide group known to then as simply "The Organization". Welles and the Harkers are simply separated by time and geography. the Harkers work in Greater London in the early 20th century, and Welles in Manhattan in the early 21st century.
The headquarters of "The Organization" is in London, and is secretly contained below the crypt of the late vampire hunter Dr. Abraham Van Helsing. "The Organization" is extremely well-organized and funded, and are the primary financial support of Welles and the Harkers. "The Organization" has operatives all over the world, and each operative has several agents working for them. Jonathan and Mina Harker are founding members of "The Organization", under the leadership of Dr. Van Helsing before he died.
In the 21st century, Bertram Welles refers to "The Organization" invariably as "The Organization", Vampire Hunters Incorporated" or "VHI".
In the 20th century, Jonathan and Mina Harker refer to "The Organization", when they must, referring to it as "Van Helsing"; when they must visit headquarters in the crypt, they euphemistically say they must "...visit with Van Helsing..."
