The story...
Christmas in Manhattan.

Tammy Greevly, a police cadet from Denver, travels to New York to find her brother Walter and bring him home. Fearing that he is the victim of a religious cult, Greevly uses her budding detective skills to track her younger sibling down. Bertram Welles, who has been tracking a series of murders reported in the news and through his police contacts, and believing that they are connected to each other, soon crosses paths with Tammy Greevly. Welles is on his own, as he has given his agents off for the holidays, and so he must take Greevly into his world of secrets as together they investigate and infiltrate a CULT OF THE NOSFERATU.

Vampire Hunters Incorporated

I'm remembering my friend, actor Robert Quarry, on the anniversary of his birth, 3 November, 1925.

Bob was a strong actor, an exceptionally intelligent man, a brilliant storyteller, and a loving, true friend. He is best remembered by film fans as portraying “Count Yorga, Vampire”  in a pair of low-budget shockers produced in the early 1970s.

Below is an essay I wrote about Bob when he was making a momentous life change: from living on his own in a little apartment to moving into an assisted living retirement home. I think that's partly what killed him. Sapped him of the will to live—the sudden change and lack of independence. What follows, however, written in 2008, was a celebration of Bob during that time of transition. I originally wrote and posted it on The Classic Horror Film Board during a “Robert Quarry Appreciation Week”, during which  a group of us spear-headed a campaign to raise some money and donate some items to help Bob.

Vampire Hunters Incorporated

Welcome to our website, and to the worlds of VAMPIRE HUNTERS INCORPORATED!

This new series of novels, graphic novels, audio plays and audio novellas was created by Stuart Voytilla and me. Our first novel in the series, is CULT OF THE NOSFERATU, featuring vampire hunter Bertram Welles.  We hope you like your vampires vicious and deadly, because that's how we plan to serve them up to our hero Bertram Welles!

It's two series of horror/adventure stories, presented in novel and audio drama formats of two very distinct sets of heroes and heroines, separated only by time...
